White Herons greet each other in the marshes of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge on Cape Kennedy. This is a birder’s paradise. I often come here to capture images of waterfowl. This refuge is one of many along the Atlantic Coast that provide rest stops and feeding areas to migrating birds. I have photographed Reddish Egrets, Ibis, Spoonbills, Skimmers, Stilts and many other waterbirds here. The space shuttle, however, remains elusive.
