This series may grow to be my most numerous group. I have thousands of images from which to consider. These are but the first. The daylily has been a favorite subject of mine since I was involved in creating new cultivars. I choose to hybridize this species due to the diversity in form and

color which it possessed. “Lavender Sunshine,” “ White Sunlight,” and “Yellow Acclaim” were three of my first cultivars. All three now exist only as fine art images as I did not propagate the variant but what beautiful prints they have made.

Five Sisters 20x20
My 20×20 “Five Sister” print is one of my favorites. The exquisite sharp gold color saturates the composition and draws the viewer into the image. It’s a “show stopper” in any room. Click on the thumbnail and feel the glow.
Bi-color 21x20
I am always experimenting with different techniques by which to digitally represent my images. You will note that “Bi-color” is one such print. Here the color is subdued to a flat pastel presentation, which mimics more that of a watercolor wash than my usual high contrast watercolor renditions. I like the results and will include it in future editions.
