The heat of late summer turns the poison ivy into a fiery display of color. When I see it I know that Fall is close. I seldom notice the ivy during the Summer months and only realize how abundant it is when it flashes red. This image is almost iconic of a southern pine forest and makes a really nice print despite its small size. Best matted in a 14×11 frame.
