This is an image that my wife took through the glass in our front door. I have been trying to get a good shot of a pair of Bald Eagles for 30 years. As luck would have it, I was not home so she picked up my camera and fired away. When I returned she told me she had photographed a couple of eagles sitting on the dead oak at the edge of the salt marsh. She didn’t seem too excited so I assumed that she had photographed a couple water birds. After I started talking to her again, she gave me permission to convert the image into a digital watercolor as long as I give her credit for the photograph.
