This image expresses my appreciation for the beauty of the daylily. What a beautiful group. I have seen this beauty repeated in thousands of cultivars. Each with their spray of color within a simple form, as seen here, to the more complex ruffled and elaborate forms. I am always captured by the diversity as I move among the plantings in my garden. Each day presents a new look, a new discovery and them I am driven to record it before it is lost only to be surprised the next day with even finer images.
